Admission test started in 24 clustered universities

24 General, Science and Technology (GST) universities of the cluster countries conducted the first-year undergraduate admission test on Saturday. On the first day, the 'A' Unit (Science Section) examination was held. The attendance was more than 90 percent. The admission test is held from 12 noon to 1 pm.

1 lakh 70 thousand 599 candidates applied in 'A' unit this year for admission in 24 universities. On the same day the Practical (Drawing) Examination of Architecture was held from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

According to a press release, this admission test was held in 22 university centers of the country. The highest attendance of 94.22 percent was in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University in Kishoreganj. And the lowest attendance was 77.64 percent in Rangamati Science and Technology University Centre.

The convener of the integrated admission committee of GST cluster universities Jessore University of Science and Technology vice chancellor Md. Anwar Hossain said that the batch admission test was a challenge this year due to various reasons. Facing all the challenges, the 'A' unit admission test has been completed in various centers across the country with accurate question papers. No untoward news has been received from anywhere.

This is the fourth time that the GST-affiliated university admission test is being held. There are three separate tests for students of three sections in total three units. That is, an admission-seeking student can get admission in any of these 24 universities according to his eligibility by taking an exam.

The admission test for 'B' Unit (Humanities) and 'C' Unit (Commerce Department) will be held on May 3. 94 thousand 631 people have applied in 'B' unit and 40 thousand 116 people have applied in 'C' unit.
