A fine of Rs 1 lakh was imposed on various business establishments in Kamalnagar

In Laxmipur's Kamalnagar, a mobile court imposed a fine of one lakh rupees on various business establishments for selling expired food, adulterated goods and not having a trade license. (Today) Executive Magistrate and Upazila Executive Officer Mohammad Mahbubul Alam Majumdar conducted the operation in Hazirhat, Torabganj, Lawrence Bazar on Tuesday afternoon. Amir Hossain Workshop 20,000 in Torabganj Bazar, Jewel Pharmacy 15,000 in Hazirhat Bazar, Samrat Food Products 25,000 in Hazirhat Bazar, Mahi Bread and Bakery 20,000 and 10 goldsmith shops were fined Tk 1,000 each for not having a trade license.
