Police recovered the melted body of a youth named Makchudur Rahman (25) after 9 days of disappearance in Kamalnagar of Lakshmipur.
The dead body was recovered from the safety tank of Tehsildar Sana Ulya's house behind Char Jangalia Union Bhumi office near Lawrence Bazar on Monday (June 06) around 12 noon.
The deceased Makshud Char is the son of Enayet Ulya of Lawrence Union.
The deceased's foster father said that Makchud went missing on Saturday night, May 28. Despite many searches, he was not found. A general diary (GD) was made at the police station in this regard.
Kamalnagar Assistant Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) Md. Znayed Kausa confirmed the recovery of the body and said, preliminary investigation suggests that the young man was killed and the body disappeared. Police searched and recovered the body. Legal action will be taken after investigation in this regard
