Liverpool star Sadio Mane exploded after the Champions League final. He announced that he wanted to leave Anfield. After various rumours, multiple negotiations, the contract discussed in the transfer market of footballers was completed.
Senegalese striker Mane is leaving Liverpool to join Bayern Munich. The German club has a three-year contract with him. Liverpool will receive a total of 41 million euros for him.
Of this, 32 million euros will be received in cash. 9 million euros to be paid to the team subject to fulfillment of various conditions.
Jurgen Klopp bought Mane six seasons ago. He played 269 matches under him and scored 120 goals. It cost Liverpool a total of €39 million to sign him from Southampton in 2016.
Klopp's famous front three is broken due to Mane's departure. With Mane, Salah and Firmino, Klopp has won the Reds the Premier League, Champions League, Carabao Cup, FA Cup, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup. As a quality alternative, Liverpool have already signed 22-year-old Darwin Nunez from Benfica for €100m.
